As the Owner and Operator of Wheels Contracting, I proudly carry on the legacy established by my father Donnie “Wheels” Buchanan, who laid the foundation for our company in the early 80s as a custom home and grading business. Construction flows through my veins and from an early age as I was right alongside my father on all of our project sites. Our company has always been a family affair, with my father and several relatives still integral in its success today.
With over 25 years of hands-on experience across various facets of general contracting, I’ve cultivated a deep understanding of the industry. Expanding beyond our roots, I’ve ventured into land development and sales, fueled by a genuine passion for construction and land transformation. Working alongside some of the best professionals in the field has been a rewarding journey, making lifelong friendships with all of our valuable team members and the clients we are so blessed to build dreams for.
At the core of Wheels Contracting lies our commitment to faith and family, exemplified by my partnership with my lovely wife Erin. We are blessed with two wonderful children, our son Stone and our daughter Mica, as well as our beloved pets, Bruno and Luna. When I’m not grinding away at work, I love spending time at the lake and enjoying time with friends and family.
