Originally from North West Ohio I moved to North Carolina for college and attended Lenoir Rhyne University, graduating with my degree in psychology. Shortly after graduation I moved to Avery County and have been here ever since. I worked the first half of my career after college in mental health and foster care case management, before I made a career change leap into construction and land sales but have found my case management skills to be very useful in these fields. I have a dog named Avery (yes after the county), and he loves coming to work every day with me. When I’m not working I enjoy reading and spending time with my friends and family.
